Kerey is an award-winning director of web series, short films, and music videos, based in New York City. He is currently in pre-production for his web series MIXED which he is writing, directing, and starring in. This work is inspired by his multi-racial upbringing as a South Asian and Caucasian American.
A Creative Storyteller at Heart, and a strong technical background in cinematography and editing, Kerey is an expert at crafting innovative, engaging content that explores issues of both cultural diversity and neurodiversity. He loves to bring those themes into other genres such as sci-fi, fantasy, and horror.
He directed, co-wrote and edited the first season of the award-winning web series SHAW, currently streaming on SEEKA TV. The six episodes of season one currently have over 6,000 views online.
He directed a short segment for a feature film called SLEEPAWAY SLASHER, executive produced by James Franco, now streaming on Amazon Prime
He has also directed and edited episode for the comedy talk show WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE, hosted by Comedian Rajiv Satyal and featuring celebrities including Hasan Minhaj, Deepak Chopra, and Nina Davuluri (Miss America 2014)
He graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst Massachusetts with a B.A. in Filmmaking and Screenwriting. He has been mentored by industry-level professionals in directing, acting, and screenwriting. Among those include Susan Shilliday (Screenwriter- Legends of The Fall) Paul Calderon- (Actor/Playwright-Boardwalk Empire, Pulp Fiction, Bosch) Tom Leopold (Writer-Seinfeld), Pamela Romanowsky (Director- Adderall Diaries), and David E. Elkins (1st Assistant Cameraman-- Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Wonder Years)
